Apply privacy mode to
Network Assistant can work in special Privacy mode. When in this mode you can limit some "indiscreet" actions of remote users. For example, you may want to "hide" your screen from the other users (disable screenshots).
The following options allow you to switch between two privacy levels:
"Private" separate state only | Low privacy level. |
When this option is active Nassi will work in the Privacy mode when it is in the "Private" state ONLY.
All states (global privacy mode) | High privacy level. (This is the default Nassi level) |
When this option is active Nassi will work in the Privacy mode in ALL states. The "Private" state is not available in that case.
Privacy mode settings (all settings are available in the Administrator mode)
These settings allow you to disable some "indiscreet" actions of remote users when Network Assistant works in the Privacy mode. Note that these settings will be effective in the Privacy mode ONLY!
Disable "FG Window Title" column
When this option is checked nobody can see the title of your current foreground window (in the Users List).
Disable Processes view
When this option is checked nobody can see the list of processes currently running on your computer (in the Advanced User Information window).
Disable Screenshots view
When this option is checked nobody can see your screen (in the Advanced User Information window). This is how you can "hide" your screen from the other users.
Disable Clipboard view
When this option is checked nobody can see the contents of your clipboard (in the Advanced User Information window).
Disable Nassi Details view
When this option is checked nobody can see your Nassi details (usage statistics of your computer) in the Advanced User Information window.
Disable alerts tracking
When this option is checked Nassi does not generate any alerts for remote users (however a remote user can define alerts on you).
Local processes
Disable remote control (Available in the Administrator mode)
When this option is checked nobody can create or terminate processes on your computer (via Process List view in the in the Advanced User Information window). This option is not related to the Privacy mode.
