Network Assistant allows you to ignore/block/limit activity of remote users. You can ignore a person or a group of people, whatever you want. To ignore a user you need to select block type and create blocking rules for this user.
List of blocked users
Here you can see the list of blocked users and block type for each user.
Block by
This field allows you to specify block type for the user. Each user can be blocked by its nickname, by workstation name and by IP address.
This field specifies blocked user name. The value of this field depends on block type: for nickname block type you need to enter nickname of the user, for workstation block type - computer name of the user, for IP address block type - IP address of the user's computer.

Blocking rules
For each blocked user you can specify a set of blocking rules. These rules are:
Ignore messages
When this rule is applied (when this option is checked) you will not receive any Nassi instant message from the user.
Ignore system messages
When this rule is applied you will not receive any Messenger/WinPopup (system) message from the user's computer.
Ignore sound signals
When this rule is applied you will not hear any sound signals (broadcast and private) from the user.
Ignore in chat channels
When this rule is applied you will not see any user's messages in chat channels.
Ignore in whiteboard
When this rule is applied you will not see any user's activity in the whiteboard.
Ignore files
When this rule is applied you will not see any file transfer requests from the user.
Block alerts
When this rule is applied the blocked user will not be able to track your activity by means of alerts.
Block user info requests
When this rule is applied the blocked user will not be able to see your advanced user information: process list, screenshots, clipboard content and usage statistics.
Total disabling
When this rule is applied the blocked user will be totally blocked on your (local) side since every Nassi network packet from this user will be ignored on your side.
Notes:
• | You can create several block types for one user. For example, you can block a user by its nickname AND by IP address. To achieve this, you need to add a user to the list of blocked users twice: its nickname (nickname block type) and its IP address (IP address block type). Also you will need to create blocking rules for each block type. |
• | You can also block the user from the user context menu ("Block" menu command). |
