Chat-In-Tip is a small window that pops up in the desktop corner and displays received chat phrases and system messages. On this page you can configure properties of this feature:

 

CHECKBOX Enable Chat-In-Tip feature

Uncheck this option to turn this feature off.

 

updown Display time (sec)

This option allows you to specify the time of displaying the message (in seconds).

 

Combobox Desktop position

This option allows you to select the desktop corner at which Chat-In-Tip window will pop up. There are four cases here:

bullet Upper left corner

bullet Upper right corner

bullet Lower left corner

bullet Lower right corner (This is the default setting)

 

Messages

 

Combobox Type of messages to display

Here you can select which types of messages should be displayed in the Chat-In-Tip. There are three cases here:

bullet User messages onlyOnly user phrases will be shown in the Chat-In-Tip.
bullet System messages onlyOnly system messages (such as some notifications) will be shown in the Chat-In-Tip.
bullet All messagesAll messages (user phrases and system messages) will be shown in the Chat-In-Tip.

 

 

button Setup Messages Format

Click this button to open the Setup Format dialog and specify the text formatting for Chat-In-Tip messages. Click here to read more about text formatting.

 

 

Appearance and effects

 

button Background Color

Click this button to specify the background color of the Chat-In-Tip window.

 

button Select Font

Click this button to specify the font (and its color) of the Chat-In-Tip messages. Note that the font of the messages you can also specify in the Fonts panel (Chat-In-Tip font element).

 

CHECKBOX Enable animation

Check this option to enable animation effect for the Chat-In-Tip window.

 

CHECKBOX Enable transparency

Check this option to enable transparency effect and to be able to tune its opacity.
