When you insert a new disc CoolCD tries to read its description from the local database.
If it fails (disc is not stored in the local database) CoolCD tries to download its description
from Internet (CDDB server). This is the default behavior but you can override it:

To allow CoolCD automatically download disc descriptions check "as required" box.
If you prefer to manually handle CDDB downloads check "only when asked" box.

Hint:

To manually download current disc description select CDDB Download

from the system CoolCD menu or from the Disc Properties window.

Note:

It is always possible that a disc in your collection is not yet in the Internet database.

In that case you can submit your CD information to the CDDB server.
